The answer is simple - you need it when it is time to imprint training and to build a strong foundation in your dog. Attack on the guide The guide with the dog being beside his left leg follows the route with measured steps. At their approaching the shelter for 4 m approximately, the assistant reveals himself and attempts to attack the guide. The task of the dog is to stem the attack by grasping fast. Before the grasping the assistant must beat the animal with a stick. If the dog is unable to stay “assailant”, the points for execution of this exercise are not earned.
