You should hold your left hand with the Y/N targets out, and use your right to show the dog the dumbbel, and you say "Is this dumbbel?", and u move ur left hand so that your thumb (Yes) touches your dog’s nose, and u immediately say "YES, X !". Then you do it again, except you now want the dog to touch Yes. If it does, you need to give the TB. If not, you should move your left thumb to touch its nose. Repeat, until the dog initiates the correct touch. Next, you need to show the dog your keys, and say "Is this dumbbel?". This time you touch your pinky (No) to its nose, and say "NO, X!". And then you say "Is this keys?", and touch your left thumb (Yes) to its nose, and say "YES, X!" You assess if the dog is getting it, or is confused, and adjust accordingly. The key is to select objects that the dog is absolutely solidly identifying correctly already. Otherwise, what you should end up doing is "switching" the names for the objects in the dog’s brain.
Aggression
Scenario: Again, with two dogs. There is another exercise to get them in closer proximity to each other, starting with one dog in a sit-stay. The second dog then sits, close enough to touch the tail of the first dog.
