How to measure your Pitbull for a good fit Collar:
Please be advised that:
- Always measure your dog neck circumference with the flexible measuring tape.
- Specify the neck size of your dog and we will make this size fit on a central hole.
- There will be the total of 5 holes and the distance between each 2 holes is 1 inch (25 mm).
- For example, your dogs neck size is 20 inches (50 cm). The collar will fit on central hole at 20 inches (50 cm).
- There will be 2 smaller size holes - 18 inch (45 cm) and 19 inch (47.5 cm).
- There will be 2 bigger size holes - 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inch (55 cm).
- There will also be tip of the collar after the last hole about 4 inch long (10 cm).
- Those are handcrafted collars and some sizes will differ a little (not significantly).
- 2 ply leather collars if measured laying flat on the table are 2 inch bigger than if measured on the dog.
This Padded Leather Collar is wide and strong enough to handle such large and strong dog as Pitbull. It's made of sturdy and durable genuine leather. Â It does not stretch or lose its shape if properly used and can easily withstand tension that occurs during everyday use.Â
Strength is a very important feature, still we would like to pay your attention to the inside lining of the collar. It is thick felt. No matter how intensive your training is, the canine feels absolutely safe and utterly comfortable due to the padding, which reliably protects the dog's skin from rubbing.
It may be easily adjusted to the size that fits your dog perfectly. The buckle is high-quality nickel plated steel. Nickel increases the tensile strength of the metal, therefore, it won't accidentally break or deform. Besides, it brings you confidence its attractive shiny surface will not be lost with time under the influence of humidity.

Many people claim that the Blue Paul is extinct. He may be extinct in his pure form, but they were probably crossed with The Pit Bull Terriers in England and Ireland, and the Pit Bull Terriers were brought to America from Scotland. In 1857, McCaffrey imported the dog Spring from Glasgow, Scotland to America. At that time Glasgow was the center of Blue Paul activity, as we have seen. In 1858, in Rhode Island, Spring won a fight in 1 hour, 35 minutes. In 1859 he won a fight in 2 hours 15 minutes. In 1860, in Boston, he beat Tom Story's dog in 2 hours 40 minutes. Spring was bred to Maid of Erin, who was an imported bitch from Dublin Ireland and produced Young Spring. Young Spring won a fight in 1 hour 15 minutes. In 1862 he beat Sheffield George's dog in 3 hours 17 minutes, in New York. When Spring was bred to John Mahon's imported bitch he produced Jeff who won a fight in Providence, Rhode Island in 1 hour. He later won against miller's dog in 1 hour 10 minutes. In 1864 he won another fight in 1 hour 10 minutes. Dick, another son of Spring, won a fight against Spring's Hope in 1 hour 17 minutes. Power's Violet was imported to America from Scotland by her Scottish owner and, on January 10, 1892, beat a dog named Spright in Massachussets. They fought at Catch weight which usually indicates large dogs....to continue reading this article please click on here...
