For rendering the assistance to the dog having closed undisplaced fracture, one should apply a holding frame to the limb and give analgesic to the dog. Retentive gypseous bandage, like temporary frame, should cover a fractured area and 2 nearest joints. Therefore, it is impossible to plaster fractured astragalus and humerus. Other methods are used for their anchoring. Open undisplaced fracture can be also treated applying plaster bandage; however one should make an uncovered part above the wound in order to manage it. Besides, these types of fractures happen very seldom in dogs. Mostly, dogs have open displaced fractures and this requires operative therapy. The gypsum is removed on the 45th, in young dogs- on the 30th day. This time is quite enough for fractured bone to set and functionality of limbs to restore. First aid for open fracture consists in arrest of hemorrhage, replacement of blood loss and also release from collapse. The limb is anchored with a temporary frame, but the dog is taken to a veterinarian clinic. Burns High fever may produce burns of 5th degree. Burns of I degree are accompanied by puffiness, hyperemia; but under thermal action of a flame dog hair is subject to charring. II degree is caused by more long exposure and as a result one or several bullas appear. Flame burns are not always followed by blistering, and this happens on account of charring not only dog hair but also scarfskin, instead of bullas one can observe strong puffiness of dermis and hypoderm. With burn of II degree the bullas usually crack, therefore the wound is infected without necessary management and that leads to emergence of purulent dermatitis. Burns of III degree involve damages of papillary layer and hypoderm. Dog burns are very difficult to cure. They happen to cause death of the animals; whereanent one should have an anchor to windward in order to avoid this affect. Burns of IV degree are characterized by necrosis of the whole derma and hypoderm. With major burns of IV degree spontaneous healing is impossible. For cuticularization to happen, transplantation of small skin pieces (1 x 1 см) is made. The hardest burns are the ones of IV degree. They capture layer of muscles, causing their necrosis and all that leads to fatality. Treatment for burns depends on degree of injury..
