Pedigree is a document, where all ancestors of a dog are listed. When buying a puppy, its new owner gets an extract from a studbook. This book contains all nicknames of highbred dogs. The nicknames of single-litter puppies must begin with one and the same letter. The studbook incorporates all dogs’ nicknames of the breed Pit Bull terrier starting with official breed recognition. However, the pedigree extract given to a new owner, includes the nicknames of at most 30 dog’s foregoers up to 4th degree. A new owner has the right to name his pet differently, unlike the name written in the studbook and which is official. Pedigree is a state paper. Rights and duties of the dog’s owner If after a while from the date of getting the dog it is clearly understood that this animal does not possesses the qualities prescribed to it by the seller, the new owner can hold a demand against him, but in default of compensation paid the buyer can go to the law, but at that he must establish the seller’s guilt. Travels Dogs often accompany their masters during journeys, but at that a dog’s owner will have to observe some rules prescribed by legislation of the country where he is going to go. It is necessary to remember that during overwater travel, air trip or train ride, the owner should keep about himself veterinary certificate when taking the dog along.
