Originally these dogs were used for animal-hounding. Both large animals and small ones were baited by the dogs. The large ones are: lions, bulls, bears and small ones: badgers, rats, etc. These battles cost a dog owner almost nothing, at the same time they arose an interest of people. Over time, as a result of the selection, the dogs with the best fighting qualities have been bred and among them it is pit bull terrier –purely fighting dog.
At the present time, dog fighting is prohibited in many countries, as well as fighting breeds of dogs, including pit bull terriers that cannot be reared. This is due to the fact that these dogs require special training. And inept treatment can lead to tragedy. In addition, some owners use the dogs in order to cause trouble for other people in every way.
